As many as 482 pets in Pela Mampang Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, received anti rabies vaccine.

Mampang Sub-district's Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture (KPKP) Implementer Unit Head, Basuki, said the free anti rabies vaccine services that targeted 482 pets were held at three different locations ranging from October 22-24, 2024.

Basuki explained anti rabies vaccines were given to 406 cats, 73 dogs, one monkey, and two weasels.
"All vaccinated pets have met the requirements. Hopefully Jakarta status as free rabies city can be maintained through this program," he explained.
Meanwhile, one of cat owners, Reni (28), thanked and appreciated the free anti rabies vaccine program.
"I have two cats. It definitely cuts the caring cost of my cats," she admitted.
